Hi! I’m Lindsey. A loyal New Englander for all my twenty-five years, I was born and raised in New Hampshire and now reside in the beautiful, historic city of Salem, Massachusetts. A few years ago while attending college here on the North Shore, I wrote a blog about my adventures in the area. This is where my introduction to local travel blogging began, and my excitement for exploring and writing about this “wicked awesome” region developed. I am excited to start fresh and feature all new places and activities on New England State of Mind.

Think of this blog as your guide to New England from the eyes of a lifelong local. I am constantly seeking out great businesses, places, events and adventures here to inspire others to visit a new spot, try an activity or learn more about the ways to enjoy this beautiful part of the US. Whether you’re also a local who is looking to do something outside of your weekend norm or a tourist who is visiting the area for the first time, let New England State of Mind be your itinerary.

If you know of a must-visit place that you think should be featured on the blog, please give me a shout!
